Sharper device mockups and a calmer editor — what's new in PrettyShot

May 3, 2026

PrettyShot helps you drop a screenshot into a frame so it looks great for a post, a slide, or a help article. We have been polishing how those frames look and how the editor feels when you work on a smaller screen.

Here is the simple version of what changed.

Phone and tablet frames look more natural

When you pick a phone or tablet frame, it should feel like a real device—not a flat sticker. The frames are cleaner and more believable: better shape, nicer edges, and little details like buttons on the sides where you would expect them. When you flip between tall and wide (portrait and landscape), everything still looks right.

You can still pick the style that fits your screenshot—iPhone-style, Android-style, tablet, or a browser window for website shots.

More space for your picture

On a laptop or a smaller window, the side areas and tools can get out of the way more so your screenshot stays the focus. Saving or copying your image stays easy—you do not have to hunt for the buttons.

Menus that behave better

Choosing options from lists and dropdowns should feel smoother and less fussy—fewer mis-clicks and odd behavior when you are switching settings quickly.

Give it a try

Upload a screenshot, try a few frames, and turn your image sideways if you use a phone or tablet mockup. If something still feels off, we would love to hear it—we keep improving based on how people actually use PrettyShot.

Happy shooting.
